Isa Milman  (1949‒ ) is an author and artist, and the daughter of Holoaust survivors; she immigrated to the United States with her family in 1950, and later, in 1975, to Canada. She now lives in Victoria. Her focus on writing and fibre arts began after her retirement from her professional career in occupational therapy, during which she focused on mental health and rehabilitation in both community and institutional capacities. Post-retirement, Milman has published three poetry collections, two chapbooks, and has published works in a wide variety of poetry anthologies, journals, magazines, and newspapers. She has received several awards for her poetry. Milman’s most recent work is a memoir entitled Afterlight, published in September 2021.
