Alex Leslie is a writer of poems and short stories living in Vancouver, BC. Leslie taught at the Banff Centre for the Arts as a guest fiction mentor, and also conducted workshops on life-writing for a community writing program in homeless-dropins, social housing buildings, and detoxes. Leslie has received several awards for various poetry and short story collections, which include People Who Disappear (2012), The things I heard about you (2014), We All Need to Eat (2018), and Vancouver for Beginners (2019). Leslie is currently working on a novel.
