This archive focuses on physical and mental health disparities amongst minority communities in relation to the COVID-19 Pandemic. There are five subsections each focusing on a different minority group. The subsections include Indigenous Communities Facing COVID-19, Mental and Emotional Health Amongst Black Communities, Mental and Physical Health of Hispanic Communities, Physical Health Disparities amongst Black Communities, and Racism and its Impact on the Mental Health of Asian Americans.
As part of this archive, five history students have come together to provide information on how minority communities have been treated throughout the pandemic, and focuses on the injustices and systemic racism that exists in the health system.
Regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or cultural identity, this section of the archive strives to make the information that is displayed as accessible and inclusive as possible. The students involved on this page and the associated subsections fully support BIPOC, LGBTQ+ communities, and other minorities.
