Cambridge University Press, publisher of Orlando, the online resource for British women’s writing, has released a new video showcasing the significance of the Orlando Project. Orlando is produced using the CWRC platform and offers a unique and valuable resource for scholars of women’s writing.

We fixed the bug causing inability to create and edit TEI Named entities (persons, organizations and places).

New TEI Entity Forms
As part of the code update we did at the end of October, we added support for creating and editing TEI-conformant files for person, organization and place entities.

We redesigned BagIt to allow users to download all or selected desceendants of the current collection. The module now works with Internet Archive books as well.
Give it a try by selecting Manage --> Create Bag(s) in the collection interface.

A Linked Open Dataset based on The Orlando Project's textbase is being released in conjunction with the WestGrid Visualize This! competition as one of two featured datasets.
