NEOS is a consortium of Alberta libraries with shared resources and an integrated library system (ILS).The principal challenges of born-digital materials for NEOS libraries are: supporting the ever increasing bandwidth requirements of digital material; obtaining licensing agreements that are affordable and workable in different contexts, andpreserving access to Government information. Government information is particularly susceptible to frequent change and removal from public websites. Libraries face challenges in providing access to and archiving this material.
