CHA has a vested interested in LAC, and has served an advisory role to them. Problems include the deterioriation of LAC's services generally, cancellation of ILL, deterioration of LAC’s AMICUS national bibliographic service, and the shrinkage of LAC’s acquisitions program. Further deterioration is predicted as a result of closure of NADP and other factors. This submission includes detailed discussion of various elements of LAC and recommendations.
