Inspired by the life and work of the poet Gwendolyn MacEwan, this play celebrates the creative spirit. MacEwan appears as an alien creature, poet, drunk, magician, and prophet. She also brings her own confusion and a warning. There has been a death of poetry, of imagination. These things must return. Then she laughs and fire erupts from her hands. This play offers a magical dialogue with the audience.
