E-books and e-readers are increasing in use; she and her family make use of library programming; smaller community do not have as much access to library materials, some may not even have a library; challenge for libraries to find balance between digital and analog resources; in the North, more training for library staff in methods of cataloguing, storing and accessing research data would be helpful and LAC should assist; libraries are hubs of community.
