A young woman calls her two sisters and one brother to her home to tell them she is dying of cancer and wants to plan her own funeral and have it while she is still alive. Their reactions vary from cynical disbelief to maudlin helplessness; all are so caught up in their own problems and rivalries that they fail to see the true reason of her call for help: to stop her from committing suicide.
