Ann, a feisty senior, intends to leave her daughter Kim, and her son-in-law Matt in charge of her thoroughbred horse farm while she goes off to the City for the weekend to celebrate her birthday Ann never makes it because a series of calamaties arise, that include (among others) a storm, explosions, missing articles, flying banana skins, a pregnancy, conceptual art, a visit from her other daughter Kate, a divorce and a financial windfall.
