Barricaded in the basement family room, Rose (43) examines her life. For sixteen years she has made small choices (she thought), but on the morning her husband leaves to meet a female graduate student, she realises she has betrayed that girl artist inside of her. Often painfully funny but with brutal honesty, Rose reveals what is at the root of her terror of the blank canvases that surround her and she makes the decision to begin her Art.
