Letter to the editor from S.H. Abrams clarifying his letters from the April, 1938 issue. He corrects Henry Scott Beattie, who responded to the original letters, by stating that the International Brigades soldiers were popular among the Spanish people; that the Government forces did see many victories; and that the head of the U.G.T., Caballero, was unfit for his position and was not removed for being “too mild.”
