Detailed description of Halifax Regional Municipality Archives; there is a desperate need for a national funding program for archives after the loss of the NADP, especially with the looming challenge of costly digitization; HRM Archive does not yet have a digital preservation strategy; the American National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation (NDIIP) is a good model for Canada to consider.
