The People's Front of Spain, defending the lawfully 
established Republican Government against a military insur-
rection, is fighting for Law: Democracy: Freedom: Human 
Rights, To Preserve the Gains Won Through the Ballot by 
the Freely Expressed Will of the People. Engaged in such 
a struggle, we hope for the world-wide sympathy and sup-
port of all peoples animated by the same political principles.
